Time? What is that?

It's Day 2...my kids are uber clingy today. I am trying to fit in my run somewhere here.

Thinking I might rely on the built-in babysitter: The Wiggles. They are free and buy me an hour. I'm so not ready to get outside to the track and do this, so I think I'll do a free run on the Wii Fit. It's a start. I'm lacking motivation and it's only day 2. I know I'll feel so much better after the run.... here goes...

  1. Oh do I know how you feel. I literally have to talk myself into getting motivated in the morning to work out. Old habits die hard, and though the mind is willing, the body is definitely NOT accustomed to this daily kick in the butt.

However it does get easier as you go. I try not to think about the initial energy lag. Instead I look forward to the great feeling I usually have AFTER the workout. My blood is pumping, mind is clear, and my face is tingly. I try to ignore any aches I might feel.

It also helps to have a medical condition that requires you to exercise to keep healthy...lol.

Anyway, you can do it mama! We're both going to look totally HOT for our 20-year!!

  2. thanks, girl. I was able to get a 2 mile run in, yoga for 10 minutes, super hula hoop (hilarious), strength training . So a total of 50 minutes on the Wii. It's a good start and right now, I feel great. I have to keep envisioning myself 50 lbs lighter and that helps me stay motivated. Hell yea! 20 year HOTTIES!!
